The EverPub Book Page          

At the core of an EverPub website is the EverPub Book Page.  These pages serve as unique Landing Pages for each book in your list.  Each EverPub Book Page incorporates its own Search Engine Optimization (SEO) in both the ‘behind the scenes’ construction and its ‘on page’ SEO with a unique attention to your keyword strategy for each book.   The EverPub website also creates a unique URL for each page that includes the book’s title.  A key component to good SEO. 

The EverPub Book Page includes all the key data and marketing information about each title.  The book’s metadata, endorsements, description, and downloadable samples can easily be added and maintained.

Social Media drives the inbound activity for your book.  In addition to keywords, it is the other essential ingredient for great Search Engine Optimization.  Each EverPub Book Page allows you to highlight your Social Media activity.  The links for Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and your Blogs can easily be added to your book profiles. In addition, many authors and publishers create videos, or Book Trailers, about either the author or the book itself.  The natural place to host such videos is on YouTube and the EverPub Book Page integrates with YouTube to display your video. 

Detailed author information is very important for every one of your books.  The relationship between the author and reader can make the difference in getting your book noticed. The EverPub Book Page includes the author’s bio and links to his or her personal Social Media sites as well as information about upcoming booksignings and appearances. 

Website Foundation    

We have already invested in building the latest publishing techniques and tools into our core structure.  Administrative dashboards, tables, templates, and interfaces are all coded.  There is no need for our clients to re-invent a feature rich publisher website.   

Search Engine Optimization   

Strong SEO was a major consideration in the design and development of the EverPub websites.  Publishers designate the keywords for each EverPub Book Page and those keywords are added to the actual coding structure of that webpage when it is created.  SEO is integral to the construction of our websites. 

Social Media Interfaces           

Social Media is a key component of our websites.  Facebook Like buttons appear throughout the website.  Social Media posts from authors and marketing staff are displayed within book pages and other information pages.  Publishers at all times retain control over whose posts appear where.

Direct Marketing                     

Almost every page in an EverPub website has a signup field for visitors.  Direct Marketing is a key component of our websites.  We have integrated the MailChimp email marketing website into our structure.  Each time a person joins your list their infomration, including the information about which page they were on, is instantly sent to your MailChimp account.  Within Mail Chimp publishers can target their newsletters and email blasts to the right customer.  Mail Chimp is free for up to 2,000 email contacts and 12,000 emails a month. 

Complete Scalability               

EverPub websites have unlimited EverPub Book Pages.  Books can be easily added, or changed, in minutes on the website.  Simple forms and Help information guide the process. 

Complete Publisher Control   

Most of the other pages in an EverPub website can be managed by the publisher on their own.  Home pages can be edited in minutes to promote the newest title or to add information about the most recent award.  Publishers control which Tweets appear, whose book is on the Books Scroll Bar, and which books appear in the Highlighted Titles Grid.  EverPub websites are designed to be affordable to maintain.  There is no need to come back to the developer to change text which has been imbedded in the code. 

Author Involvement               

We have included a unique Author Access feature in EverPub websites.  Depending on the controls set up by the publisher Authors can access and maintain certain fields within the Author and Book Pages.  With more of the marketing effort being pushed back to Authors and thinner staffs at the publishers this is extremely helpful in getting current marketing information up on the websites quickly.

For example, you can give the Author the ability to add or edit the information about their next reading or their most recent review.  The Publisher always has complete control over which fields authors can change. 

Content Management System   

We use open source CMS technology (ModX) that has a large user base and is constantly maintained.  This gives us a website structure that is based on managing large amounts of varied content.  It also gives us the flexibility to adjust the sizes and components of our data tables with a minimum of effort. 

Google Previews                      

The Google Preview function is now available on our EverPub Book pages.  The Publisher can turn this function on individually for each book. 

Downloadables                        

Each EverPub Book Page includes the feature to download PDF files.  Files to be downloaded can be easily added to the system within the Administrative Dashboard.

Publisher’s Design                   

The basic core code for EverPub websites includes all of the features described.  The website development process is fairly simple in that each publisher gets their own design and skin which is overlaid on this existing structure.  They each look unique but all get the benefit of a proven and reliable structure.

Books Home Page

EverPub websites include a Books Home Page. This is the launch pad for your book listings.  The Books Home Page includes the Books Scoll Bar which displays a moving list of titles selected by the publisher.  Clicking on an image takes the visitor right to that EverPub Book Page.  Another place to feature titles is the Highlighted Books Grid in the middle of the page.  Once again, titles for the grid are selected by the publisher.  On the right side of the Books Home Page are the Social Media posts from selected Authors. 

Administrative Dashboard

Behind the scenes is the password protected Administrative Dashboard.  The multiple screens in this section give the Site Administrator complete control of the data, files, links, and permissions within the website.  There are numerous Help Icons in this section to help you manage your website.  Commands and actions are simple and straightforward.
